YOUR FUTURE STARTS NOW

I was born in Romania, growing up under the dictatorial communist system of former president Ceausescu. At the Romanian revolution in 1989, I was 11. I’ll never forget the long queues to get food, the lack of water and electricity supply.

Life was tough. At the time, traveling abroad was restricted, and everything foreign (international music, jeans or sweets) felt very special. Theoretically, living abroad was nothing but a dream to me.

Deep inside my heart, I knew I deserved better and I was meant for more. I so wanted to see the world, meet new people from different cultures and discover everything this beautiful planet had to offer.

So I worked hard. When others were playing, I was studying. It’s been a combination of chances I got (call it luck) and opportunities I created for myself by investing in my future.

“Luck is preparation meeting opportunity.” – says Oprah. Soooo true.

Besides reading and studying, I’ve always worked with coaches. Years ago, I had a personal growth coach. At the moment of writing this post, I am working with a money mindset coach and a business coach for online entrepreneurs.

We are all co-creating our future by the choices we make in life and whatever we decide to do in different circumstances.

I trust the Divine (Source, God) to show me the way on my path and to give me all I need to grow and learn through various life experiences.

I believe in a supportive Universe where everything happens for our highest good. If a door doesn’t open, it’s not the right door. Or it might be the right door, but not the right moment. If I don’t get what I want today, it means something better is going to show up tomorrow and God has a better plan for me. I trust everything unfolds perfectly, in the right place, at the right time, with the right people.

Today, I am grateful for the opportunities life gave me. I am also proud of the inner girl that still lives inside myself. So far, I’ve worked and lived in Romania, Sweden, China, South Korea, Mexico, and the UAE. I love meeting new cultures and systems of belief and experiencing diversity and growth through travel and living on different continents.

I am not sharing this with you today to glorify my success (even if I have learned how to embrace my achievements with dignity and grace and stop taking myself for granted).

I want you to know that everything is possible when you trust the path of life and you believe in yourself, doing the best you know and the best you can so you can get where you want. Often cases, success comes along with an investment of time, money, and energy. But it is possible.

Your past is part of your experience, but it has nothing to do with your future. It doesn’t define who you are. Your future starts Now. It’s open. So don’t miss the chance – don’t dream your life, live your dreams!
